My 97 TC has lights which don't always come on, I'm thinking it's the switch. (Common?)

I notice some switches have the auto setting. Mine doesn't have those option, do far as I know. Can I use those switches?

Thanks,

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong. 3'rd generation vans use the center rearview mirror for the auto headlight sensor. In theory, all you would need to do is get the headlight switch with the "Auto" position, and also the automatic day/night rearview mirror. The connector for the mirror should be taped to the harness above the headliner, I heard others have looked and found it.
