  • About a month ago I replaced my front driver wheel hub on my 2010 town and country 4.0 due to the bearing being shot. The replacement went smooth I test drove and all sounded and felt well. About a week later as I was backing out of the drive I felt a slipping coming from the front driver side. Drove the car about 10 miles and it started making all sorts of noises. When I got home i jacked up the car and found the lug nuts we’re all loose. After I tightened them down all the clunks and noises went away but still noticed the slipping only in reverse and only when cold. Another week goes by now I have a growling noise coming from the front end. After some investigation found the mid shaft bearing to be busted. I replaced this but still have the growling/humming and slipping in reverse when cold. Is it possible that the new bearing is defective due to the tire being loose? Or am I looking at transmission issues? Any ideas? I inspected the cv axles and they “look ok”
