Philip and Morris should make Oil filters. That would be cool!
Or FRAM should make cigarette filters. A bright orange filter would look great. :)

The Motorcraft FL1a oil filter, that I cut apart some years back, had a nitrile anti-drainback valve and a string around the filter media, a la Purolator design. I wrote a report on my findings: Mopar oil filters rule

How about an oil filter heater? Ever heard of one?

I use the FL1A on both my wife’s 4.0 Cherokee and our 3.3 van. It seems to be a nice large filter which fits many applications. (WallyWorld price is right)

My 2 cents
