Hi dkf747--did the SA let you know if the TSB was applicable to your VIN? That may have been the issue, that it didn't show up for your VIN, so the tech did not perform it.

Honestly.... big chance the coil is going south little by little, those things dont last forever, and looks like last tad less than distributors in 3.0s for example. The issue with distributors is that you have to time them back to specs... with a coil you dont have to check timing no more, the computer adjust it for you.
