Firing order and cylinder location for a 3.8

Can some one provide me the firing order and cylinder location on a 3.8 engine. My 2004 GC has been missing on idle for the last 5 months and finally gave me a check engine light. I have not read the code yet, but it will probably tell me a plug is missfiring, so I need a cylinder layout. Thanks for your help.

Or follow the handy numbers on the OEM plug wires...

Not to drag up an old subject, but why is 2, 4, & 6 the same order on the block and coil pack, but 1, 3, & 5 are arranged differently? Is it so the firing order can be 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6?
