I have a question, and i've never approached to do something like this before, but it doesn't look so well currently,so...
The driver and passenger mirror have quite a bit of scratches and was wondering if there was any way to rid that or paint it, without replacing?
The sliding door tracks, just below the rear vent windows, they look ugly after all these years with a brown, I guess rust line from the small roller. It looks pretty ugly, and was wondering if their is any way of painting or fixing that issue?
The mirrors would have to be sanded down, primed, painted and clearcoated with good plastic paints. They take a lot of abuse though, so it might be a losing battle. Or, if you don't mind the look, plastidip them.
The sliding door tracks would be a similar thing - good rust inhibitor, prime, paint, optional clear coat. These also take a good amount of wear, so it might be a losing battle too.
I'm pretty sure you can paint all the trim pieces you mentioned , Sherwin Williams has a good selection of paints , you could talk with a sales person there and ask them if they have something you're looking for. Just make sure you mask everywhere you don't want overspray. As far as the sliding doors go , after the paint dries (go a couple day's without using the sliding doors) then put vasoline on the track with your finger and that should stop the rubbing.
Hey 04, Did a Search for Repainting Outside Mirrors, on Bing, and this was the best answer that came up! http://www.carid.com/1998-dodge-grand-caravan-side-mirrors/ They offered me No Information on Actually Repainting them, just replacing them, and then Repainting them to match the Body Color! Sorry bout that, but will hopefully get your pointed in the Right Direction!
On the Limiteds I have, the mirror housings are unpainted black plastic. I just hit mine with a rotary or orbital buffer every so often, then wax them. Start with a rubbing compound, then follow with a polishing compound, then whatever wax you want. Then they look like new.
I have mentioned this before .... epoxy paint
I did my grille and trim with it, it holds up very well.
VHT is the one I used, available in the car parts store. A similar item they make is chassis paint.
For the bumpers, they make a urethane paint designed for the pieces that flex:
