Has anyone dealt with a noisy headliner?
Noisy meaning: It sounds as though the adhesive on the back side of the headliner is not completely holding anymore, but trying. It sounds as if there is double-sided tape that is used for the headliner to attach to the roof steel, but it's letting go just a bit with every bump on the road resulting in lovely crackling/popping noises. If I press against the headliner, it goes away.
The question is: Have any of you dealt with this? Do you have any tips/tricks/solutions?
I've considered getting some thin foam strip, removing the headliner seal by the driver side sliding door and trying to fish the foam up between the roof and the headliner.
It seems to be inline with the B-pillar on the driver side (meaning right over my head when I drive).
Driving me ***nuts***. :nut:
