I would undo the Pressure line from the CAN at the bottom of the pump. You will get most of it.

Good idea to change it out. Just had the PS fluid changed on my 2001 Sebring a few months ago. I haven't noticed any change, but then again, that's the point.

I agree. When I changed the spark plugs on the 03, I seen no change. Just like when I change the transmission fluid, I see no change. With vehicles, seeing no change when performing a maintenance type of thing, not seeing change may be the best thing.

Changing it is a good idea after all these years. I did mine a few times over a period of a few weeks to get most of it out. Mine still gets terribly dirty around the cap for some reason, I think it is just a characteristic for some reason.

I just replaced the fluid by changing it in the res (draining to nothing by siphon and replacing it) 4 or 5 times. The last time I put in a bottle of Lucas transmission treatment to help condition and quiet. So far I am satisfied and it is quieter.

Just be sure to use transmission fluid, NOT power steering fluid. Tranny fluid is what's specified.

Regular power steering fluid was used in the 3rd gens from all the ones I've seen.

This is correct sir. No ATF+4 in 3rd generation vans. From what I've heard the rubber hoses are not able to handle that.

    Now I´m in doubt

Every car I had with power steering had specified regular ATF (A´type) for power steering. Is it the same you guys call power steering fluid?
