    Dipstick tube is there but not the actual dipstick. You have to take it to the dealer to check ATF level.

    With new transmissions, you have to know exact transmission fluid temperature in order to get accurate readings (or so they say).

    You can buy an aftermarket dipstick or make your own.

    You can get the dipstick cheaper on Amazon. I believe Dorman is the brand I have.

    That's because the reviewers don't realize the dipstick is not meant to be left in place. It is designed to be used with a variety of transmissions, each transmission requires the dipstick be inserted to a specific depth. The depth can vary between different transmissions, and the vehicles they are in.
