Changing rear plugs in a 95 T&C 3.8
I have read various posts here and elsewhere regarding this project, but I am still pretty intimidated by it. The most hope I had was reading about removing windshield wipers and cowling and tub below them, thus "exposing the entire rear of the engine" and making it simple to accomplish from above. All I can figure is that the poster was referring either to a different year or a different motor though, because in my case, there is simply nothing I can see to be gained at all by doing ANY of those things. Removing the Fuel Injection assembly from the top of the motor looks like it might be helpful, but I'm really not prepared to get into that.
I have ordered factory service manuals to guide me through partial or complete R&R of the alternator/alternator bracket, but it appears that at least one plug will still have to be accessed from below. I don't have a lift, just ramps, jacks and jack stands. I have had the T&C up on ramps so that I could get underneath on a creeper, and was then just barely able to see a couple plugs (driver side and middle I think), but even if I raise the care further up on jack stands I don't see how to get at those plugs from below to change them.
I would be humbly and greatly appreciative for any guidance from first hand experience on this model and motor.
Thanks in advance-
