My problem is with the 94 town & country minivan now at reg drive speed i get a real bad wobble in the steering wheel and if your just coasting at 1 MPH with it out of gear you can fill the steering wheel start to pull to the left after the tire makes a complete rotation the steering wheel go's back to alinement then when the wheel starts a new rotation it starts to pull again. Driving at 45 mph it is hard to hold onto the steering wheel with this problem. Any help please would be great

I would get it to a front end shop pronto to get it analyzed. You can go in for one of those xx point free inspections at a tire shop and they will probably find it. But this is too dangerous, it could fall apart at high speed. This is if you are not able to jack up the wheel and wigglie it and find out what it is yourself. Could be fatal, really.

i had the wheel off today and spot checked the tierod it was tight balljoint was tight no wiggle in the wheelbearing the boots are all good no slop in any parts only broken coil spring on the strut but the steering wheel pull is just strange ive done work on my cars for 30 years and never had this problem before

Carefully spin the wheel with your hand on the tread. Do you feel a bulge or irregular place? You could be having a separation of tread the is like a bubble under the tread. If your tires are more than 6 yrs. old, they are dangerous, but I have had them separate in 3.8 years. Could a rim be bent or broken?
Another possibility is a badly warped rotor, when you hit the warp, it brakes that side slightly pulling it to the Left. Rotate wheel up and see if you have a point of resistance to rotation.

i dont think its separation of tread on the tire but now the rotor maybe being warped is a thought now if coasting at 1 MPR would a warped rotor cause the steering wheel to slowly pull the left then straighten back out then start over again this is something i will check out tomarrow it is something didnt think about checking thank you...

This is definitely symptoms of a tire problem. Take it to your friendly tire shop (preferably where you bought the tires -- are they under warranty -- do you have road hazard on them?). Have them put it up on a lift and rotate them to see if they've been damaged in any way.

You may think it's the left one, when in fact it might be the right one. That is why having it up on a lift where you can spin it and see what the surface looks like will quickly tell you what's happening. :thumb:

i think i found the problem it being (1) a bad tire (2) and a stuck caliper i pulled the tire and checked the rotation or the rotor it was tight in 1 spot i wiggled it to free the caliper from the rotor and changed the tire the wobble was gone. jamming on the breaks a few times made the wobble come back so a knew tire , caliper and rotor will fix the problem with the bad wobble i was having. THANK YOU ALL for the help i got from you guys

Great news. Depending on your mileage, didn't notice, you might replace the hose with the caliper while you have it apart. Try to get the caliper that has the new bolts/hardware with it. Use proper caliper grease on the pins and be immaculately clean with it. Don't forget to grease where the pad ears rub the caliper on the top and bottom. Hoses wear out too, and best to do it as a unit if you have it apart. If you ever had a line or a hose burst, you know what I mean. One other think, be careful not to run out of fluid while replacing it or you got a lot more work.
