so my sister has a 2009 Town and Country minivan with the 3.3 liter. she was having battery issues and then it wouldn't start. Wiggle around the battery connection a little bit and it finally started. Drove down the street and died on her. now when you start it, it only idles with zero throttle response. I replaced the full throttle body and TPS unit from a salvage yard. At first there was no check engine light but now there's a p0123 code. no change in throttle response even with the new tps unit. Really stumped and not know which way to go. I know if possibly be the PCM or the actual pedal. Anyone else have any knowledge of how to fix this?

The throttle body has a unique identifier that the PCM uses to make sure that everything is as it was the last time it ran. If you switch it with another, the calibration must be run to let the PCM and the APP know the proper angle and sweep of the plates.

Lower battery voltage can cause many strange things to happen. Have you tried leaving the battery disconnected for a few minutes to see if it changes anything? Have you had the battery tested?

If you’re having to jump it you’re not keeping enough voltage in the system for it to keep its learned throttle parameters when the engine is off.
Might want to test/replace the battery.
Are you still setting the P0123 TPS code? Have you run any of the trouble tree chart for this code?
Or reinstall the old TB and a new battery to see what happens?
