Have a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan. When I fold down the third row seat the seat legs do not retract into the floor. There is a small plastic part that is broken which tightens the cable. When I called to check on the part Dodge tells me I must replace the whole cable at about $150 for the part. Has anyone else had this problem. Right now a cable tie is holdings the legs down to the floor. Thanks Helene

Heleno,

I don't know if this is what you need but Dorman just came out with a "Seat Repair Kit" part number 924-276 (See page 2 of this pdf).

Link: Dorman Products

You can find it on Ebay for around $40.

As a side note:

Did anybody notice the power steering reservoir for the 4th gen in the Dorman PDF under the seat repair kit?

Less than 20 bucks, not bad.

My 2005 T&C has the same problem with the 3rd row seats: they fold into the back well without problem but the legs stick up about 7 inches. You can push them down to become flush with the floor, but they just pop up. When I have to use the cargo space I just put a cover over them and all is well.

The part listed seems to be for the folding mechanism and not for the leg cable ....
