  1. Sticky Thread Sticky: What's the mileage on your 4th generation?

Wow can't believe the van is at 180,000 Kms now.Only 20,000 kms to go until the big 200,000 kms. Seems just like yesterday I bought the van. Is their any thing that I should be on a look out for at this point? Also whats the current mileage on your 4th gen?

  2. Sticky Thread Sticky: 02 T&C power sliding door issue

I got a 2002 T&C Lxi, this is an intermittent problem. Sometimes the drivers side power sliding door will click open but that is it. It will not retract open. Sometimes it will work normally as well. Funny thing is is when the sliding door will not work the lift gate will act the same, pop open...

  3. Sticky Thread Sticky: Owner programmable Features

Well, after a few threads about people not knowing about features that can be programed by owners without the Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC), I scanned my owners manual with the ones contained in there. Just FYI, this is out of a 2005 manual, so other years may be different. Some may...

  4. Sticky Thread Sticky: FYI - Chrysler acronyms - (what do those initials stand for?)

This may help a few of you, since this has been coming up quite a lot lately. It is by no means complete, but it is a start. Here is a list that was posted on the Jeep forum by user "TheStigX" http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f9/heres-list-chrysler-acronyms-1060854/ Here's a list of...

  5. Sticky Thread Sticky: Caravan/T&C/Voyager oil filter

I usually get my oil changed at a local dealer for $21.95 and they always seem to do a good job. (No long waits, friendly service etc.) This time I did it myself to save some time and I went to Wal-Mart to purchase my oil and filter. While looking at the four or five kinds of Fram filters they...

  1. Rear Wheels Locking Up? Solved.

After sitting for even one week, our 2004 Caravan rear wheels lock up. I would end up taking the rear wheels off and pounding on the drum cover and it'd break the wheels loose. The rear end has been howling for sometime on the road which I assumed was the hubs. This time they didn't want to...

  2. Should I change transmission fluid

I just bought a '05 T&C LX 3.3l. Runs good. I was checking things over and noticed ATF was over full a little and was really clean. I got to thinking If that fluid was recently changed who did it and what type of fluid did it get. It has 106,000 miles on it. What do you guys think? Should I do a...

  3. AC

I am not mechanical by any means at all, but I am good and figuring things out usually with a lot of trial and error. My AC in my 2003 town&a country is acting up. The air is really super cold, but the fan doesn't willingly blow. Rear AC works just fine as long as it's on the rear control....

  4. Cowl Weatherstrip Plenum to Hood

Wasn't sure what this was called until I did a search. The rubber on mine has totally disintegrated after almost 11 years. Just the part that clips onto the cowl is still there and water gets into the engine bay. Anywhere to get another or do you have to buy the whole cowl assembly? I've done...

  5. Dear Caravan Owners: Spark Plugs Require Maintenence!

Put your nose near the exhaust. Smell excessive gas? Ever changed your "maintenance free" platinum spark plugs? Picked up another Caravan a couple weeks ago (2003). No DTC (Check Engine light). Smells rich. Got it cheap. Fuel trims way off. Pulled out one plug. HUGE gap. Another plug - same....

  6. Replacing fuel pump......the other way

Seeing posts on the Whats the Mileage thread reminds me to ask about fuel pumps. Itsallgood asks if the fuel pump is original on the van with 403k miles on it, and it seems that few older vans still have their original pump. My 2001 still has its original, and I wonder how much longer it will last....

  11. Cool Fixed P0442 and P0456 Small Evap Leak

Hi Just want to pass on after long searching, I found the smallest leak in a very small hose located under the air filter box on a 2002 T & C. I had to remove the air cleaner box to access hose. There are two small 5 /16 inch hoses and one had the smallest slit it in. Able to clear by...

  15. Colliding wipers and stuck arm

My wipers were colliding. I replaced my passenger side blade with a 22 inch (vs 28 inch) blade to solve the problem as a temp fix but even now they sometimes have issues. I have researched adjusting the alignment, but I can't figure out exactly how to take the arm off. I don't want to force...

  16. Whining noise getting louder!

Hello, I have a 2007 Chrysler Town and Country with a whining noise. When I first got it about 2 years ago it had a whine and I replaced the power steering fluid and it was dramatically reduced. It has gotten back up to where it is VERY noticeable sometimes, and other times it does not demand your...

  17. Multiple EGR & MAP codes (P0120, P0403, P0406, P0107) 2010 Caravan

I'm stuck! I recently had an EGR code (P0406) on my 2010 Caravan (3.8), so I replaced the EGR valve with a new one. The code still shows up, along with P0129, and randomly MAP sensor codes show up as well (P0129, P0107). I also put a new MAP sensor in. I checked and found there are 5 volts...

I found last night when I was about to leave from home for some Home Depot shopping that my headlights didn't turn on. This is low and high beams. Fog lights, corner lights and indicators work just normally. I checked fuse for headlights but I did see fuses for for other things but not for...

  19. 2003 Voyager LX won't start - will crank

My 2003 Voyager died Thursday. It had been running fine earlier that day. I was on my way to work, stopped to get gas, restarted the van, it ran for about 30 seconds then died. Could not restart. It has over 234k and had been intermittently throwing code P0420 until Wednesday night as I left...
